How do I get my identity checked?

From your VeraCash® Member Area, go to "My documents" - "Verify my identity" and click on "Verify".

Validation of identity is a two-step process that will only take a few minutes. We will ask you to film your identity document (valid ID, passport or residence permit) and to take a video selfie to ensure that no one is impersonating you.

If you don't have a mobile phone, you can proceed as following :

  1. From the website: please enter the mobile number of a friend or family member who will allow you to continue on his phone.
  2. From the mobile app: download the VeraCash® app on the mobile phone (Android or iOS) of a relative, log in to your account and follow the procedure below. Once the procedure is completed, you can log out and delete the app.

From the VeraCash® mobile app (Android and iOS)

  1. Log in through the VeraCash® app.
  2. Keep your ID ready.
  3. Navigate to "My Documents" tab > "Verify my identity" and click on the "Verify" button.

From your Member Area on the website

  1. Login to your Member Area
  2. Keep your ID ready.
  3. Navigate to "My documents" tab > "Verify my identity" and click on the "Verify" button. Make sure you do not close the window that will open.
  4. Enter your phone number. Then follow the instructions on the link you received by sms.
