What is a sensitive operation?

A sensitive operation may be a request for an outgoing transfer, a card payment, or the modification of your personal details.

By definition, a sensitive operation is an important operation that can have a major impact on your account and that is secured with a Strong Authentication process (SCA).

Here is what a sensitive operation means at VeraCash:

  • Changing, displaying and unlocking your PIN code;
  • Changing your personal details (mobile, email, postal);
  • Changing your card limits;
  • Activating your card;
  • Requesting an outgoing transfer;
  • Sending assets;
  • Receiving assets;
  • Converting your EUR holding account into metal;
  • Paying by card.

To ensure that you are the source and that you are not subject to fraudulent activity or identity theft, we have implemented a strong authentication process (SCA).

As part of this procedure, you are required to add a trusted device to prove that you are the source of your sensitive operations.
