What is the FIFO system?
The acronym FIFO (First In, First Out) is used at VeraCash to refer to the various movements of precious metals into and out of the VeraCash account.
The FIFO method (First In First Out) is based on the principle that the precious metals you acquired first will be the first to be sold from your account if you make a movement on it.
Example: You decide to do a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) on GoldPremium and buy 10 grams per year from 2020 to 2030. For any movement out of the VeraCash account, the first grams resold will be the grams purchased in 2020, then 2021, and so on.
