As part of the Strong Authentication process (SCA), you must add a trusted device to prove that you are the source of your sensitive operations.
Your account can only be associated with one mobile device, so make sure that you are using yours.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Download or open the VeraCash mobile application (on Google Play or the App Store);
- The application will ask you directly to associate the device you are on so that you can go further;
- Enter the verification code sent to you by text message;
- Set your 6-digit security code;
- That's it, you've got a trusted device!

Can I add several trusted devices?
No, you can only add one trusted device. If you change phones, you will need to replace your old device with the new one. The mobile app will detect it for you.
I'm changing my phone. How do I change my trusted device?
If you change phones, you will need to replace your old trusted device with your new phone.
When you login to your new phone, the mobile app will detect that you are not on your trusted device.
You will then have the option of deleting the old device and you will have to repeat the strong authentication process to add your new trusted device.
Why can't I add my trusted device?
There are several reasons why you may not be able to add your trusted device:
- Your device is already associated to your VeraCash account;
- Your device is associated with a VeraCash account other than your own;
- Your mobile device is not compatible with the mobile app and this strong authentication process;
If you do not recognise yourself in any of these cases, then a technical problem may have occurred. Please contact customer support for more information.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
The strong authentication process (SCA) is mandatory and VeraCash must comply with the regulations to guarantee the security of your operations.
It is now essential for you to have a smartphone to carry out these security processes.
